Our conversations go like this:
M: "How did you know about that?"
B: "Well, you can just tell..."
M: "But I wouldn't know that"
B: "Ahhh, you're sweet"
M: "Seriously, how?"
B:...on to the next project
And the amount he gets done....yesterday he worked from 6:30am - 8:00pm and still had a to-do list ready for this morning.
I am writing this because he is too modest to admit most of this and I will probably have to delete it once he sees it, but the truth should be told. I am so lucky and proud to be a part of his family.
Man handling the plastic cover off of the boat (notice the snow - it was about 15 degrees with the wind) |
Taking time to give Kala a hug before he wraps the mast for transport (again - snow on the ground, ice on the river) |
Sanding the bottom paint off Stella Blue - this took about 8 hours, waxing and buffing took another 8 hours - hard to keep your arms in that position, but he never complained once. |
Bolting down the shrouds of the newly stepped mast |
Cutting carpet off of the template he created from our cabin sole |
All that AND he's a wonderful son! |
